Four New Startup Teams Entering the Incubation Program!

With our Mentor Meetup on April 11, 2025, at the Life Science Center Mainz, the [LiSci]RLP incubator program entered its next round — with fantastic support from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture of Rhineland-Palatinate.

After the success of the first round, we’re now moving forward with not just three, but four innovative teams from the fields of life sciences and biotechnology.

At our Mentor Meetup, the four startup teams engaged in an intensive exchange with experts from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors to select their mentors for the upcoming incubation year.

An overview of the teams:

  • ORVAX Therapeutics – RNA-based vaccines against infectious diseases
  • CYCLOX – Platform for the sustainable production of natural active ingredients
  • SMAC – Contract analytics for polymers in biotechnology
  • Alsterrlab – Multifunctional medical yarns infused with high-tech active agents

The growing number of participants at our Mentor Meetup highlights the strong interest from life sciences experts in actively shaping and supporting the future of this promising sector in Rhineland-Palatinate.

We’re incredibly excited about the months ahead with these dedicated startup teams — and about many upcoming innovations “made in Rhineland-Palatinate”!
